PROFILE:

Angelica was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association in 2012 and joined Marcos P. Spanos & Co LLC in 2016. She was promoted to Partner and Head of Litigation in 2023. As of September 2025, Angelica is also an accredited Mediator.

Angelica is a seasoned litigator with a strong track record in handling complex and high-value disputes. She represents and advises clients on a wide range of matters, including tort, contract, commercial, banking/financial disputes, administrative, and employment law, and regularly appears before courts of all jurisdictions on behalf of distinguished local and international clients. Angelica has developed a specific niche in the Cyprus cheese “halloumi”, representing dairy producers, extending her expertise in matters of protected designations of origin (PDO) and protected geographical indications (PGI).

In addition to her expertise in litigation, Angelica advises extensively on data protection and GDPR compliance,  supporting, inter alia, private businesses, organizations and financial institutions and associations in aligning with regulatory requirements. Angelica has significant experience in drafting and reviewing data protection policies, managing cross-border data transfers, and addressing breaches and investigations.

Angelica also has extensive experience in Intellectual Property Law, regularly advising clients on and effecting trademark, patent and copyright registration procedures in Cyprus and abroad.
